Killers' new album coming soon!

The Killers new album, Day & Age, hits stores Nov. 25th. The group has met with mainstream success in recent years with their eclectic mix of power pop, punk, and New Age styles. Their first single, "Human", is an infectious dance-based piece of rock. The lyrics are classic Killers nonsense, asking "Are we human?/Or are we dancer?" in the chorus. I'd put it on the blog for you all to enjoy, but Mikey still hasn't gotten around to making me co-coordinator or whatever, so all I can do is write posts.

I didn't know you were a Killers fan!! This is amazing. I am soooo excited for their album. And "Human" is an absolutely fantastic song. You should look up the video of the live performance they did on SNL if you haven't already. They sound great live only Brandon can't dance.

Ha ha. You are so right. I watched the SNL performance last night. Flowers looked awful.

Um..."classic Killers nonsense"?!? This is what kind of music exactly? "Good?" "Genius?" "Nonsensical?" Seems like pick number 3 to me...But then I'm almost 50...

Listened to it on youtube. At least the drummer is good, but then I'm partial to drums.

Nonsensical, man. But it has a great beat, and that's why I like it. Plus, I don't really care what Brandon Flowers has to say about the world, so if he says nothing, that's fine by me.

Hey at least he can sing. Pretty darn well. And I think The Killers do have some pretty strong messages in a few of their songs. They seem to be about disillusionment generally.
